Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Applications Support Specialist to manage, troubleshoot, and enhance our software applications. The role involves providing technical support to end-users, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring smooth operation of applications across departments.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Level 1 and Level 2 support for applications
• Diagnose and resolve application issues raised by users within defined SLAs
• Maintain documentation of common issues and solutions in the knowledge base
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalations and fixes
• Assist with software rollouts, upgrades, and patches
• Conduct training sessions for end-users when needed
• Monitor application performance and generate periodic health reports
Required Skills & Expertise
• 4 - 5 years of experience in application support or IT service management.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven experience in supporting IT projects in the BFSI sector (Preferred)
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
